Dan’s Excavating, Inc. is seeking a Parts/Shop Assistant in Shelby Township, Michigan area. This position will involve physical labor at our main office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Include but are Not Limited To:
Being Able to Properly Receive and Store Parts and Like Items
Keep All Stock Rooms and Parts Areas Cleaned, Maintained and Uncluttered
Put Stock Orders Away
Properly Process Shippers and Invoices
Maintain Inventory
Occasionally Deliver Parts to Jobsites and Other Various Locations
JOB SKILLS:
Ability to Follow All Company Policies, Procedures and Take Management Directives, Including All Fleet and Safety Policies
Ability to Communicate Clearly & Effectively, as well as Having Decision Making Skills
Must be able to Maintain Good Attendance and Arrive to Work for Each Shift in a Timely Manner
Must be Capable of Lifting and Moving Parts and Boxes, Weighing up to 40 Pounds
Must have Valid Chauffeur Driver’s License and be able to Meet Driver Requirements
Must be able to pass a Preplacement Drug Test & Physical
Hi-Low Experience is a Plus
