Partnerships Manager Jobs in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria at Kalvia

Title: Partnerships Manager

Company: Kalvia

Location: Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria

Partnership Manager — Kalvia (Lagos, Nigeria)

Kalvia is building a future-focused vocational and workforce development institution, equipping young Africans with practical, industry-relevant skills through four trade pathways: Solar PV/Energy Access, Modern Electrical Systems, Water & Building Systems, and Climate & Cold Chain/HVAC.

As we move from pre-launch into implementation, partnerships are central to how we build the Kalvia ecosystem connecting our pathways with manufacturers, employers, schools, communities, foundations and service providers. We're looking for a strategic, commercially minded Partnership Manager to build this ecosystem from the ground up.

What you'll do:

  • Identify, develop and negotiate partnerships across manufacturers/technical partners, employers, CSR programs, foundations & development organizations, schools & student pipelines, communities, facility partners, and equipment/service providers
  • Build a prioritized partnership pipeline and convert relationships into structured, measurable agreements — not just meetings and introductions
  • Develop compelling partnership propositions, proposals, sponsorship packages and concept notes tailored to each partner type
  • Lead or support negotiations and work with legal counsel on MOUs, sponsorship agreements and other partnership documents
  • Coordinate implementation, track partner deliverables and commitments, and manage renewals and expansions
  • Build employer relationships that translate into internships, apprenticeships, placements and graduate hiring for Kalvia students
  • Secure sponsorships, grants and in-kind support (equipment, tools, funding) aligned to Kalvia's pathways and pilot cohort
  • Maintain a CRM/pipeline system and provide regular reporting on partnership status and value to leadership
  • Protect Kalvia's brand and reputation through appropriate due diligence and governance on every partnership

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years in partnerships, business development, stakeholder engagement, corporate affairs or institutional fundraising
  • Demonstrated ability to convert relationships into signed agreements and measurable outcomes and not just activity
  • Strong proposal-writing, negotiation and executive stakeholder-management skills
  • Commercial and institutional judgment, able to weigh strategic, financial and reputational value of a partnership
  • Comfortable operating hands-on in a fast-moving, early-stage/pre-launch environment
  • Experience in education, workforce development, manufacturing, construction, real estate, energy or facility management is a strong advantage
  • Established networks across Nigerian corporate, education, development or industry sectors is a plus

This is not a relationship-maintenance role. We need someone who opens doors, builds a disciplined pipeline, closes agreements, and owns delivery through to renewal and expansion.

To apply: submit your CV, a brief note on your interest in Kalvia, and an example of a partnership you personally originated or managed including your specific contribution and the measurable outcome. Applications that don't clearly identify personal contribution and results may not be shortlisted.
