Job Description
The Print Shop of Savannah, a professional local printing company celebrating nearly 50 years in business is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Part-Time Print Production Specialist to support daily production operations. This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone with experience in a professional print environment who enjoys working independently and contributing across multiple areas of production.
Responsibilities Include:
- Digital press operation
- Contributing to bindery and finishing work (cutting, folding, collating, etc.)
- Assisting with mass mailing and fulfillment production
- Supporting day-to-day shop workflow and production needs
- Identifying and resolving basic production issues as they arise
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a professional printing facility
- Working knowledge of digital printing and bindery operations
- Keen attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency in meeting deadlines
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing production demands
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and with minimal supervision
- Dependable, punctual, and reliable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional graphic design experience using the full Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of digital prepress workflows and file preparation
- Working knowledge of both Apple (macOS) and Windows operating systems
