Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Companion & Driver to provide ongoing support to a gentleman living with dementia. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, attentive, and enjoys assisting others with daily activities.
Working Hours:
- Days: Every Tuesday and Friday
- Time: 09:00 – 12:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with shopping errands
- Transport to and from doctor’s appointments
- Ensure a safe, calm, and supportive environment
Requirements:
- Fluent in Afrikaans
- Valid driver’s licence (essential)
- Previous experience with elderly care or dementia (advantageous)
- Patient, kind, and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and responsibly
