Parkwood – AU PAIR – AFTERNOONS

Area: Parkwood
Ages: Boys aged 8 years old in Grade 3 and 7 year old in Grade 1
Working hours: Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri 13:00 – 17:00 and Tues 13:00 – 18:00
School holiday hours: Same hours as above
Duties: Picking up children from school. Taking to extra murals. Taking children
home. Helping with homework, providing academic support and liaising with parents on
academic progress.
Requirements: Someone in their 20’s.. We would ideally like someone in university or who has a basic university degree that will be able to keep up with the standard of work at the children’s school level.
Start date: 01 June 2026 – Permanent contract
Salary: R9500 – R11000 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95) for any driving done directly for the family. Not to get to and from work.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
