Role Description The Owner role at Bridgegap Consults Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Owner will provide overall strategic direction, set organizational goals, and ensure alignment with the company’s vision, values, and market opportunities. Daily responsibilities include overseeing business operations, managing key client relationships, guiding the development of consulting services, and driving revenue growth and profitability. The Owner will lead and mentor senior leaders, approve major budgets and investments, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. The role also involves monitoring market trends, representing the organization at industry events, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and learning-oriented culture.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in senior leadership, business ownership, or executive management within consulting, professional services, or related sectors.
  • Strong strategic planning, business development, and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, negotiate high-value engagements, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, and organizational development capabilities, with a track record of building and empowering diverse teams.
  • High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical practices, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skills, resilience, and adaptability in a dynamic business environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or relevant professional certifications is an advantage.
  • Deep understanding of the Nigerian business environment and regulatory landscape; prior experience working in or with organizations in Lagos State is preferred.
