Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Overnight Medical Scribe role based in Heliopolis, supporting medicine doctors during night shifts. The Medical Scribe will document patient encounters in real time, including histories, physical examination findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans, following established clinical and organizational standards. Day-to-day tasks include accurately entering information into electronic medical records, updating charts, preparing documentation for diagnostic tests and procedures, and ensuring records are complete and compliant. The role also involves coordinating with medical staff, clarifying documentation requirements, and maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy in all patient-related information. The position requires consistent overnight availability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to supporting physicians in delivering effective patient care.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform accurate and efficient scribe duties, including real-time documentation of patient encounters and medical orders.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy sufficient to understand and record clinical information correctly.
- Background in medical assisting or similar clinical support roles, with familiarity in patient flow, documentation standards, and basic clinical procedures.
- Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams and clarifying documentation needs.
- Medical degree (Medicine) or equivalent qualification required; prior experience as a medical scribe or in hospital/clinic settings is an advantage.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems, strong typing skills, and high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work reliably on overnight shifts in an on-site environment, maintaining focus, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
