Overview
Outbound Sales Caller — B2B Events (Remote, Contractor) Jobs in Home Based at Kordie
The opportunity
We’re looking for a dedicated outbound caller to support the sales team for our flagship hospitality event series — a premium, hands-on programme for hospitality marketing leaders.
Your job is phone-focused: call prospects who’ve received an email from the team, confirm the right contact, make the outreach visible, and log outcomes in HubSpot. You’re the voice that turns a cold email into a warm conversation.
What you’ll do
- Make 120–150+ outbound calls per day to hospitality marketing decision-makers. These are brief, structured calls — not hard selling. Most calls follow this pattern:
– Confirm the right person for the invitation
– Reference the email they received and gauge interest
– Get permission to send the programme, or note a callback / referral
– Log the outcome cleanly in HubSpot
- Work from a daily call list generated by the SDR team. Each day you’ll receive a fresh batch of contacts to call, plus follow-up callbacks from previous days.
- Log every call outcome in HubSpot — right person confirmed, send programme, referral given, not relevant, callback requested, no answer / voicemail. Clean logging is non-negotiable; the SDRs rely on your notes to tailor their follow-ups.
- Be professional and warm on the phone. You’re calling Directors of Marketing and Heads of Social at hotel groups. The tone is polite, confident, and brief — you’re introducing a premium event, not pushing a product. Most calls are under 2 minutes.
What we’re looking for
- Phone experience. You’ve done outbound calling before — cold calls, appointment setting, lead qualification, or similar. High-volume daily calling is your comfort zone, not a stretch.
- Clear, professional spoken English. You’re speaking to senior hospitality professionals. Your accent doesn’t matter — clarity, warmth, and confidence do.
- Discipline and pace. 120–150 calls/day means consistent rhythm. You don’t need chasing to hit your numbers. You manage your time, take short breaks, and keep going.
- Basic CRM skills. You can navigate HubSpot (or similar) to find contacts, log call outcomes, and add notes. You don’t need to be a power user — you need to be accurate and fast.
- Reliability. You show up on time, deliver the call volume, and flag problems early. This role is the engine room of the outreach sequence — if you stop, the pipeline stops.
Nice to have
- Experience calling into hospitality, travel, or events
- HubSpot experience
- Experience supporting SDR or sales teams with appointment setting
- Second language (Spanish a plus)
Engagement and compensation
- Remote contractor, UK-friendly working hours.
- Fixed monthly retainer. This is a volume-and-quality role, not a commission role. Compensation reflects the call volume and consistency required.
- Multi-city opportunity. The first campaign launches this summer. More cities follow. Consistent performers carry through.
How to apply
Send your application with:
- A short note (2–3 paragraphs): Your experience with outbound calling — volume, who you were calling, and what the purpose of the calls was.
- Your LinkedIn profile or CV.
- Your daily call volume in previous roles — be specific.
