Outage Spares Expeditor
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma or related qualification in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or Maintenance Management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in spares coordination, material expediting, or outage support within power generation or heavy industrial environments
- Proven experience in tracking outage materials, critical spares, and supplier coordination
- Experience working on Eskom power stations or large industrial outages will be advantageous
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
Key Responsibilities:
- Expedite critical outage spares, materials, and equipment to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor material availability and track procurement status during outages
- Coordinate with suppliers, stores, planners, and maintenance teams
- Resolve material shortages and delivery delays affecting outage schedules
- Maintain accurate records and compile spares progress reports
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Good planning and reporting abilities
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet outage deadlines
