The Orthospaceship is a boutique orthodontic practice on Sunset Blvd. We pair clinical excellence with a warm, beautifully designed patient experience, and we’re growing. We’re looking for an experienced orthodontic assistant who takes pride in their work and thrives on a close-knit team.
What you’ll do
- Assist chairside through bonding, debanding, adjustments, and records
- Take and process diagnostic records: photos, scans (iTero/intraoral), and X-rays
- Place and remove archwires, ligatures, and appliances per the doctor’s direction
- Prep and break down operatories; maintain sterilization and infection control
- Educate patients on appliance care, hygiene, and aligner wear
- Keep accurate clinical notes in Dolphin
What we’re looking for
- Prior orthodontic or dental assisting experience
- Current California RDA or DA registration
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Current X-ray/radiography certification
- Strong attention to detail and genuine warmth with patients
- Reliability and a team-first mindset
