The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
- Capturing and processing customer orders received via telephone and email, accurately and efficiently;
- Managing and monitoring cash sales and COD transactions;
- Applying planning and forecasting skills to reschedule orders when required;
- Handling customer queries and complaints professionally and timeously;
- Ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures;
- Maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs;
- Reviewing standing orders and action any outstanding or carry-over orders.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and strong overall computer literacy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage customer complaints effectively
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Valid driver’s license
