Position Summary
The Operations Support Coordinator plays a key role in the logistics and effective management of IT store assets, operational documentation, and stock administration processes. This role ensures that equipment movements, asset records, and supporting supply chain documentation are accurately maintained across relevant systems.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the receiving, processing, and movement of IT-related hardware within operational stores and distribution areas.
- Asset & Inventory Support: Maintain accurate records of IT store inventory aligned with specific service or asset requests.
- High-Precision Data Capturing: Ensure that asset updates are communicated to system administrators and accurately reflected within internal asset management platforms.
- Supply Chain Liaison: Engage with IT/Electronic suppliers regarding short shipments, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies.
- Documentation Management: Coordinate the administration of asset-related documentation, including filing, archiving, and retrieval for effective tracking.
- Movement Control: Support the coordination and movement of specialized equipment between different operational locations.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company and client policies relating to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
Requirements:
Education
- Matric Certificate.
- A qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain is highly advantageous.
Experience
- Mandatory: 1+ years’ experience in a logistics, administrative, or operational support role.
- Specific Requirement: Experience must be within an IT/Electronic store or IT supplier environment.
- Note: Candidates with only general "Warehouse and Distribution" experience will not be considered; a background in IT logistics and data capturing is essential.
