Job Summary
FRU AND SONS LTD is seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the company. The successful candidate will ensure efficient coordination of import and export operations, warehouse activities, inventory management, transportation, and staff performance while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Coordinate import and export processes, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
Monitor inventory levels and oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of consumer goods.
Coordinate logistics, transportation, and distribution schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Supervise operational staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
Ensure all operational procedures comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve workflow and efficiency.
Collaborate with procurement, sales, finance, and customer service teams to ensure smooth business operations.
Monitor operational costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Prepare operational reports, performance metrics, and inventory reports for management.
Investigate operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure proper documentation for imports, exports, customs clearance, and shipping activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Train, mentor, and develop operational staff.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management are an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 5–7 years of operational or logistics experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in wholesale import and export of consumer goods is highly preferred.
