We work with governments, development banks, corporates, and project developers across Africa, Asia, and Latin America to scale high-integrity climate projects.
As Terrava continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations & Project Manager to support the CEO in structuring and managing the company’s operations, internal systems, and project delivery.
This role is fully remote and based in Madagascar.
Role Overview
The Operations & Project Manager will play a central role in ensuring the smooth execution of Terrava’s activities. The position combines project management, operational structuring, and process automation, helping the company scale efficiently.
You will work directly with the CEO and coordinate with internal teams and international partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management
- Support the planning, coordination, and tracking of Terrava’s projects across multiple countries.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Ensure effective coordination between internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders.
- Prepare project updates, reports, and follow-up actions.
2. Operations Management
- Help structure and improve Terrava’s internal operational processes.
- Organize workflows and task management across teams.
- Maintain internal documentation and operational guidelines.
- Support operational planning and coordination across the company.
3. Automation & Systems
- Implement and monitor internal tools and automation systems (CRM, workflow automation, AI tools, etc.).
- Support the integration of tools such as HubSpot, Zapier, Notion, Airtable, or similar platforms.
- Ensure systems are used efficiently and processes are followed.
4. Executive Support
- Support the CEO with operational coordination and follow-ups.
- Prepare internal briefs and organize key information for meetings.
- Ensure tasks and priorities are tracked and executed.
Profile
We are looking for a structured, reliable, and proactive professional who enjoys building systems and ensuring things run smoothly.
Required qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, project management, consulting, or startup environments
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in French and English
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in startups, consulting firms, or international organizations
- Familiarity with digital tools, automation platforms, or CRM systems (HubSpot, Zapier, Notion, Airtable, or similar platforms)
- Interest in climate, sustainability, or technology
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
