Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, responsible for overseeing daily operational activities across Kingford Homes’ projects and offices. The role includes coordinating cross-functional teams, managing workflows, and ensuring that property development and sales processes run efficiently and within established timelines and budgets. The Operations Manager will implement and improve operational policies, monitor performance metrics, and support senior leadership with planning, reporting, and decision-making. Additional responsibilities include supervising vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational effectiveness. The role requires close collaboration with project management, sales, finance, and customer service teams.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in operations management, preferably within real estate, construction, or property development.
- Strong skills in process improvement, workflow optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Proficiency in project coordination, scheduling, and resource management.
- Ability to manage vendor and contractor relationships, including negotiation and contract oversight.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and basic financial reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proven leadership capabilities, including team supervision, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfort with using office productivity and collaboration tools; experience with real estate or project management software is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Estate Management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Lagos and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
