A growing, award winning professional services firm is looking for a dynamic People Operations Administrator to join their Cape Town office.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-quality, accurate and timely administrative support across the People function, ensuring core people processes are delivered consistently, efficiently and in line with firmwide standards. The role will support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, people data, payroll administration, absence, leavers, employee documentation, reporting and day-to-day People queries.
The role will primarily support the People Operations team, while also providing administrative support to the Cape Town office and the Early Talent Team. Key aspects of the role:
- Offer Process and Onboarding
- Joiner Administration
- General Administration – support to HR Lead and Early Talent Team
- Leaver Administration/ Offboarding
- Data Reporting
- Compensation and Benefits administration
You will have:
- Experience of working in an administrative role within a HR/People Team
- Working within a professional services environment would be beneficial
- An understanding of People processes within a corporate or professional services environment, including the importance of accuracy, confidentiality and compliance
- Proven ability to support numerous team members and balance priorities accordingly
- The ability to work at a fast pace, and meet important deadlines
- A genuine passion and interest in People/HR
- Confidence using HR systems, Microsoft Office and Excel, with the ability to maintain accurate records, trackers and reports
- A service-focused approach, with the confidence to respond to routine employee queries and escalate appropriately where needed
