The company specializes in affreightment of cement, scrap, and steel to Egypt, with branches in strategic Egyptian ports like Alexandria, Cairo, and Port Said. IBRAMAR serves about 60 vessels monthly passing through the Suez Canal or undergoing cargo operations in Egypt.
Role Description
We are currently seeking a Boarding Officer for a full-time, on-site position based in Port Said. The Boarding Officer will be responsible for coordinating vessel activities, including Suez Canal transits and port operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor and follow up on emails around the clock, preparing timely and appropriate responses under the guidance of the seniors.
- Prepare all necessary documentation required for vessel operations, in accordance with the official requirements.
- Ensure all vessel calls are efficiently managed and that operations proceed smoothly and according to plan.
- Oversee cargo handling activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and operational standards.
- Coordinate vessel arrivals and departures to ensure seamless port and canal operations.
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned to support operational efficiency and workflow continuity.
- Be prepared to work in other Egyptian ports — including Damietta, Arish, and Suez — on an exceptional basis when required by operational needs.
