The Aisle™️ (www.theaisle.africa) is Uganda's dedicated wedding vendor directory and planning website. We connect couples planning their weddings with trusted vendors across Kampala and beyond. We are growing fast and looking for driven, people-oriented individuals to help us bring more vendors onto the platform.
The Role
As an Onboarding Agent, you will be the face of The Aisle in the field. Your job is to identify wedding vendors across Kampala, introduce them to the platform, and help them create their listings on the website. You will work independently in the field, with remote check-ins and a weekly team meeting.
What You Will Do
- Identify and approach wedding vendors (photographers, decorators, caterers, DJs, makeup artists, venues, and more) across Kampala
- Introduce vendors to The Aisle platform and explain the benefits of listing their business
- Assist vendors in signing up and creating their listings on the website
- Follow up with vendors to ensure their listings are completed and published
- Submit daily written reports and attend a Monday morning team meeting
- Meet a weekly target of at least 5 published vendor listings
What We Are Looking For
- A smartphone or tablet you can use in the field (devices will not be provided)
- Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new tools quickly
- Clear communication skills in both English and Luganda, spoken and written. Additional languages are a bonus
- A friendly, energetic, and respectful approach when dealing with people
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently without supervision
- No specific academic qualifications required, but having them is a bonus
- Sales experience is a bonus

Engagement Details
Type: Independent Contractor (Contract for Services)
Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension)
Location: Field-based across Kampala
Training: A short onboarding training will be conducted in person before you begin fieldwork. Transport and meal expenses during training will be covered.
