Overview
Hire Resolve’s client in the Solar Energy industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an Operations and Maintenance Technician in Somerset West, Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
Perform site inspections as required in preparation for Operations & Maintenance (O&M) after project completion.
Schedule and conduct maintenance and repairs on all related components of a PV system.
Complete O&M inspection checklists.
Send monthly performance reports to the Head of O&M.
Liaise with the Head of O&M for resource requirements, including the Bill of Materials when needed.
Manage client relations specific to O&M.
Maintain and develop department documentation related to O&M.
Stay up to date with the latest Solar Performance Standards.
Check DC compliance.
Conduct project site production runs and site visits in preparation for handover to the O&M department.
Requirements:
Qualified Electrician or minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
IT/Communications and Solar knowledge/experience.
Proficiency in Excel, excellent communication and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Benefits:
Salary: R750K/yr – R900K/yr, negotiable
