Role Description

This is a temporary remote role for an Office Administrator & Personal Assistant supporting the day-to-day operations of Lux Afrique Boutique and the Founder.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, handling customer communications, and supporting the operational needs of the business. The role will also involve managing client enquiries, processing orders, coordinating shipping logistics, and responding to emails and calls from customers and suppliers.

In addition, the candidate will provide personal assistance to the Founder, helping with diary management, coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, and general executive support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day administrative operations
  • Handling client calls, emails, and WhatsApp enquiries
  • Processing and managing online orders
  • Coordinating shipping, logistics, and delivery tracking
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and luxury brand partners
  • Managing inbox communications and customer service responses
  • Scheduling meetings and managing calendars
  • Supporting general business operations and office coordination
  • Providing personal assistance to the Founder, including administrative and organisational support

Qualifications

  • Experience in Administrative Assistance, Office Administration, or Executive Support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing customer enquiries, emails, and phone communications
  • Ability to handle orders, logistics coordination, and shipping processes
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain professional relationships
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency with online tools, email systems, and administrative software
  • Previous experience in luxury, fashion, concierge, or high-end service industries is a plus
