For the site in Sandton, South Africa we are looking for you as Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d)

These Challenges Await You

Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop, implement, and oversee strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals for teams and individuals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales strategies with overall company goals.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions.
  • Create incentive programs and commission structures to drive performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable sales culture.

Sales Execution & Client Management

  • Manage key client accounts and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Support sales reps in closing high-value deals and navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management and post-sales support coordination.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics (conversion rates, revenue per rep, etc.).
  • Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and progress reports to senior leadership.
  • Use CRM software (e.g., Blu-Wave) to manage leads, contacts, opportunities, and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate data entry, pipeline hygiene, and timely follow-ups.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Provide feedback to the R&D team on customer needs, product improvements, and service issues.
  • Collaborate with Finance on pricing, contracts, and revenue tracking.

Skills And Personal Attributes

  • University Degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Marketing
  • Minimum 7 years’ proven sales management experience
  • Strong record of closing deals and consistently hitting targets
  • Strong customer service mindset

  • Ability to analyse market trends, competitor activity and performance data
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills
