Our client in the fleet management space seeks a Group OHS Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership of Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHERQ) management nationally.

Requirements:

  • Health and Safety related degree
  • Post grad qualification in Fleet Management or similar advantageous
  • 8 years’ experience in occupational health and safety management
  • Proven ability to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels
  • Safety Management Training Course (SAMTRAC) Certified
  • Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality (SHERQ) Certified

Key Responsibilities:

To provide strategic and operational leadership of Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality
(SHERQ) management across the Group / nationally. The role ensures full compliance with applicable
legislation including the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and drives a proactive safety culture
aligned with ISO standards and best practice. The role is accountable for risk mitigation, compliance oversight,
national OHS governance, and audit performance
