Role Description As a Nutrition Specialist at Ultra Health, you will provide evidence-based nutrition consultations to clients via secure in-app messages and video calls. You will assess client needs, review health histories, and develop personalized nutrition plans aligned with their goals and medical requirements. On a day-to-day basis, you will educate clients on healthy eating habits, monitor progress, adjust recommendations, and document all interactions in the platform. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure coordinated care and maintain high standards of ethical and professional practice. This is a remote contract role, offering flexible hours and the opportunity to serve clients from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Dietetics and Nutrition, with the ability to apply evidence-based guidelines to individualized care.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly in both written and verbal form.
- Experience in Nutrition Education, such as counseling, group education, or creating educational materials for clients.
- Understanding of Food & Beverage principles, including meal planning, portion control, and practical, culturally sensitive recommendations.
- Relevant credential such as Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (or equivalent local certification) strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related health science field.
- Comfort with telehealth tools, electronic documentation, and delivering care in a fully remote setting.
- Ability to work independently, manage a virtual caseload, and maintain client confidentiality in accordance with applicable regulations.
