Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Nurse Midwife role based in Ibadan. Also a Remote Services at our other State Chapters (Edo State Chapter, Kano State Chapter and Lagos State Chapter). The Nurse Midwife will provide patient-centered care, including maternity services, family planning, and general healthcare, focusing on the health and well-being of women and their families. Daily responsibilities include conducting prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care, counseling on reproductive health, and supporting patient education initiatives. The role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure holistic care for patients.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Midwifery, Maternity care, and Family Planning
- Strong foundation in Medicine, Nursing, and women's health care services
- Ability to provide patient education and counseling on reproductive health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients
- Valid nursing and midwifery licenses
- Experience in community health or working within a similar NGO setting is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Midwifery, or a related healthcare field
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare
