SUMMARY
Responsible for crane operation and rigging to move steel from the outside stock area to the rolling area in the Production Facility.
General Purpose:
Responsible for crane operation and steel plate organization and movement to and from the plate storage area in between cutting and bending operations.
Responsibilities:
â—† Responsible for crane operation and rigging in moving steel from the stock area to the rolling area in the Production Facility.
â—† Ensure that safety and environmental requirements are followed.
â—† Strive for continuous improvements to reduce lead time.
â—† Strive for achieving results.
â—† Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
â—† Regular & reliable attendance
â—† Able to operate crane, and perform Preventative maintenance daily
Education, Training, and Skills Required:
â—† Must attend Overhead Crane safety course
â—† Must complete on-the-job Crane Operator Training Checklist.
NOTE: Minimum Training Guidelines:
â—† Must complete 1 week on-the-job training

â—† Quality Systems

Heavy industrial work environment, loud machine noise from production floor, exposure to cutting torches and grinding sparks from Fabrication present. Employees in these areas must use safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility clothing and wear steel-toed boots
Employees are responsible to perform duties related to generating and storing hazardous waste in satellite accumulation areas. Must remain within regulatory and internal compliance when using, handling or segregating hazardous materials and waste
