A well-established organisation is seeking to appoint a confident and driven newly qualified CA(SA) to join their finance team based in Centurion. This role offers exposure to a challenging and performance-driven environment where resilience, strong personality, and the ability to handle pressure are key to success.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a newly qualified CA(SA) who is technically strong, assertive, and able to engage confidently with stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting financial reporting, driving accountability, and contributing to overall business performance.
The appointed individual will be required to operate in a demanding environment, engaging with various departments, and ensuring that financial processes and controls are consistently upheld while delivering accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Analyse financial results and provide insights to support decision-making
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and enforce strong financial controls
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across the business
- Support audit processes and ensure accurate documentation
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function
Job Experience & Qualifications:
- CA(SA) – newly qualified (non-negotiable)
- Strong academic track record
- Technically sound with a solid understanding of financial reporting
- Strong personality with the ability to operate in a high-pressure environment
- Resilient, assertive, and “thick-skinned.”
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to take ownership and work independently
