Internship Opportunity:
At UlizaLinks Media, we are building a bold and fast-growing digital media platform focused on news, storytelling, and engaging content across Kenya and beyond. We are looking for a passionate, creative, and self-driven Multimedia Journalism & Digital Content Intern ready to gain real hands-on experience in the media industry.
This is not a sit-back internship — you will be actively involved in content creation, reporting, and building a media brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and publish articles on UlizaLinks.co.ke across:
- Politics
- Entertainment
- Business
- General news
- Create and design social media content (posters, reels, short videos) using Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar tools
- Assist in managing and posting content across social media platforms
- Conduct on-ground interviews and assist in field reporting
- Support in planning, recording, and editing podcasts and interviews
- Participate in on-camera presentations (news snippets, interviews, content pieces)
- Assist in basic camera setup and production
- Contribute ideas for trending and engaging content
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a course in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media, or related field
- Strong interest in media, storytelling, and digital content
- Basic writing skills and willingness to learn
- Interest in social media content creation
- Confidence (or willingness to grow) in appearing on camera
- Self-driven, disciplined, and eager to learn
