Multimedia Content Creator Jobs in Edenvale at MaxLaser
We are looking for a highly creative full-time Content Creator / Storyteller to join the team at MaxLaser in Johannesburg.
This is NOT a standard social media posting job.
We are building one of the most exciting industrial, creative, and entrepreneurial content brands in South Africa — focused on laser machines, UV printers, fabrication technology, product creation, side hustles, small business growth, and real-world manufacturing.
We want someone who can tell stories visually.
Someone who understands:
- cinematic video,
- photography,
- pacing,
- emotion,
- humour,
- product storytelling,
- short-form attention,
- YouTube retention,
- visual aesthetics,
- and how to make “machines” feel exciting and human.
You will help create:
- YouTube videos,
- Instagram reels,
- TikToks,
- product showcases,
- mini documentaries,
- customer stories,
- behind-the-scenes content,
- educational content,
- workshop/factory footage,
- entrepreneurial stories,
- and viral experimental content.
You will work inside a fully operational creative and industrial environment with:
- laser machines,
- UV printers,
- signage production,
- fabrication projects,
- studio setups,
- lighting equipment,
- real businesses,
- real products,
- and real customer success stories.
We are NOT looking for someone who only knows how to:
- post templates,
- copy trends,
- or make generic corporate videos.
We are looking for someone who thinks like:
- a filmmaker,
- a documentary creator,
- a visual storyteller,
- a creative strategist,
- or a YouTube creator.
You should ideally have experience in:
- videography,
- photography,
- editing,
- colour correction,
- sound design,
- social media content creation,
- YouTube editing,
- short-form editing,
- lighting setups,
- and storytelling structure.
Bonus if you have experience with:
- cinematic content,
- workshop/factory filming,
- product marketing,
- YouTube channels,
- creator brands,
- podcasts,
- documentaries,
- or entrepreneurial content.
Software experience preferred:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Photoshop
- Lightroom
- After Effects (bonus)
Personality matters massively.
