Job Responsibilities:
Objective: The Mowing Crew Lead is responsible for managing and leading the mowing crew to deliver high-quality lawn care services efficiently and safely. This role includes coordinating daily tasks, ensuring client satisfaction, maintaining equipment, and upholding company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
o Supervise and direct mowing crew members to complete daily assignments effectively.
o Provide guidance, training, and support to crew members to enhance performance.
o Foster a positive and productive work environment.
2. Scheduling and Coordination:
o Plan and organize daily work schedules to maximize efficiency.
o Ensure all jobs are completed on time and to client specifications.
o Communicate with the office regarding schedule changes or updates.
3. Quality Control:
o Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards.
o Address client concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
o Provide feedback to crew members to maintain high service standards.
4. Equipment Management:
o Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and storage of mowing equipment.
o Perform routine checks (every morning) and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
o Report significant equipment issues to management for resolution.
o Trucks to be power washed twice weekly. (Tuesday & Friday)
5. Safety Oversight:
o Ensure crew members follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
o Conduct safety briefings and monitor for potential hazards on job sites.
o Take immediate action to address any safety concerns or incidents.
6. Client Interaction:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during job assignments.
o Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and maintaining professionalism.
o Communicate any special requests or feedback from clients to management.
7. Administrative Duties:
o Complete and submit daily reports, including job completion details and crew performance.
o Assist with inventory management for supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or a related field.
- • Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
- 3 years experience
- • Strong knowledge of mowing equipment operation and maintenance.
- • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Pay: $18.50 – $22.00 per hour
