Motion Graphics Artist – Nisha Kapoor Creations | Remote | Freelance / Project-Based
Nisha Kapoor Creations is looking for a talented Motion Graphics Artist / Animatics Editor for an upcoming indie live-action short art film currently in pre-production.
We are seeking someone with a strong cinematic eye who can transform storyboard frames into immersive animatics and previsualization sequences. The focus of the role is on cinematic pacing, camera angles, shot flow, transitions, and emotional rhythm rather than heavy character animation.
The film has an abstract, atmospheric, and visually immersive storytelling style with minimal dialogue, making visual rhythm and mood extremely important.
Responsibilities
* Convert storyboard frames into polished animatics
* Create cinematic camera movement (pan, zoom, push-ins, transitions, etc.)
* Help establish shot timing, pacing, and scene flow
* Collaborate creatively during the film’s pre-production stage
* Export production-ready preview sequences
Requirements
* Experience in motion graphics, animatics, or cinematic editing
* Strong understanding of visual storytelling and shot composition
* Good sense of pacing, timing, and cinematic rhythm
* Experience with indie, artistic, or experimental visual styles is a plus
