The Mobile App Developer at Awari is the technical authority for our mobile ecosystem. You own the mobile architecture, drive the strategy for cross-platform deployment, and mentor the mobile team to deliver world-class applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Architecture & Strategy: Define the long-term mobile architecture, choosing the best state management and navigation patterns for scalability.
- CI/CD & DevOps: Own the mobile deployment pipeline, automating builds, testing, and distribution (e.g., using Codemagic or Fastlane).
- Technical Leadership: Lead the mobile team through complex technical challenges and mentor junior/mid-level developers on Dart best practices.
- Performance Optimization: Take ownership of app performance, including load times, frame rates (60fps/120fps), and battery/data efficiency.
- Technical Debt & Refactoring: Proactively identify "Technical Debt" in the mobile codebase and work with the Engineering Manager to prioritize improvements.
- Governance: Lead the code review process for all mobile Pull Requests, ensuring high security and maintainability standards.
- Incident Ownership: Act as the primary owner for "Critical" mobile incidents, leading the rapid fix and verification process.
Requirements & Competencies
- At least 4 years of progressive experience in a tech related company
- Strong proficiency in Flutter and the Dart programming language.
- Experience with Bloc, Provider, or Riverpod.
- Proficiency in consuming RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
- Expert use of GitLab for version control and Jira for task management.
- Understanding of the differences between iOS and Android design patterns.
- Ability to implement pixel-perfect designs from Figma/Penpot.
- Disciplined adherence to testing requirements and documentation standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Salary Range: 350,000-450,000.
