Merchandiser FMCG Jobs in Cape Town at Henties Juices
The focus of this position will be to maximizes the appeal and availability of our range of products to drive sales. The suitable candidate will understand and have experience in the arrangement of displays, monitoring of stock levels, rotation of products to ensure freshness using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principles, and maintain strict hygiene and cold-chain standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Presentation: Arrange shelves, end-caps, and promotional displays according to brand planograms or store directives.
- Stock Management: Replenish stock, conduct inventory counts, and remove damaged or expired goods.
- Quality & Compliance: Monitor temperature controls, ensure food safety compliance, and maintain clean and sanitary display areas.
- Sales & Promotions: Execute marketing campaigns, ensure price tags and promotional signage are accurate, and assist customers with product inquiries.
Requirements
- Education: A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1–3 years of retail or merchandising experience, particularly in grocery or perishables.
- Physical Ability: Capability to stand for long periods, work in temperature-controlled environments, and lift moderate to heavy items.
- Skills: Strong numerical and organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a valid driver’s license.
Must have own reliable transport.
Pay: R6 000,00 – R8 000,00 per month
