Medication Technician 10pm-6:30 am FT Jobs in Pittsburgh, PA at New Hope Gracious Personal Care
New Hope Personal Care is currently seeking a qualified Med Tech to join our 10:00pm-6:30am shift!
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and facility policies
- Accurately document medication administration and resident observations
- Monitor residents for medication side effects or changes in condition
- Assist residents with daily living activities when needed
- Follow all safety, infection control, and medication management procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other care staff regarding resident needs
- Maintain a respectful, supportive, and caring environment for residents
- Rotate between Caregiver and Med Tech positions based on community needs
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current Medication Administration Certification required. Must be able to provide documentation of all observations
- Current Diabetic education required
- Current CPR card is required
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication protocols
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable and professional work ethic
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
