Harley’s Ltd is looking to fill the position of Medical Representative in our Consumer Health Business Unit.

In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for promoting the company's skincare products to a diverse clientele, in accordance with the instructions provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales and Marketing: Present, promote and sell dermocosmetics products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers. Achieving agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule, track sales and status reports. Mediate with potential customers, identifying their needs, persuading them about your products which can best satisfy those needs.
  • Service Excellence: Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends and up to date with the latest clinical data and use same in discussions with health professionals. Maintain knowledge of new developments in the Health Sector, anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly.
  • Customer Service: Perform visits as per agreed target schedule for each customer category and adjust sales presentation accordingly. Provide service to existing accounts, obtain orders and organize daily work schedule to call existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors. Assist in collection of payments from customers. Resolve customer complaints including product return issues by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Reporting: Provide feedback to management through submission of reports (daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly reports) and make proper usage of reporting system. Gather and submit market intelligence reports on pricing, products (existing & new launches), delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Adaptability & General Support Demonstrate initiative, resilience, and a proactive mindset, embracing change and supporting additional finance or accounting responsibilities as may be assigned by management in alignment with evolving business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Science related course
  • Previous experience in marketing of dermocosmetics products – preferable.
  • At least Three (3) years’ field sales experience in the Healthcare industry with refined ability to coach and motivate the sales force.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage vendors and internal stakeholders professionally and resolve issues collaboratively.
