Responsibilities
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout visits.
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including vaccination administration, prescription prior authorizations, prescription refills, etc.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems by documenting patient histories, treatment plans, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and other medical data with precision
- Support medical administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining organized medical records
Experience
- Prior experience working in family practice desired
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology is essential for accurate documentation
- Hands-on experience with anatomy and physiology knowledge to support patient assessments and procedures
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
