Durban. A busy and well-established medical practice is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Accounts Controller to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong medical billing experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of their work.
POSITION INFO:
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a medical practice
- Proficiency in Health Bridge, iHealth, or Vericlaim
- Strong working knowledge of ICD10 codes, RPL codes, modifiers, PMB, and medical aid processes
- Proven ability to investigate and resolve claims queries effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Additional Requirements:
- Own reliable cell phone, laptop, and internet connection
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills
