An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking an energetic, sharp, and dedicated professional to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Trade Test Certificate as a Mechanician/Instrumentation Technician or related qualification
- Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in industrial maintenance environments
- Proven experience in fault-finding, calibration, testing, and maintenance of SMART/HART field instrumentation
- Experience working in shutdown/outage and plant maintenance environments will be advantageous

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills on SMART/HART field instrumentation
- Ability to perform calibration, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation equipment
- Good understanding of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, loop drawings, and P&IDs
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure during shutdowns and outage activities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in maintenance reporting and documentation
