An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking an energetic, sharp, and dedicated professional to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Trade Test Certificate as a Mechanician/Instrumentation Technician or related qualification
- Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in industrial maintenance environments
- Proven experience in fault-finding, maintenance, calibration, and stroking of pneumatic positioners
- Must have experience working on the following systems:
- Fischer Pneumatic Positioners
- ABB TZID
- Siemens SIPART
- Metso Positioners

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills on control valve systems
- Ability to perform maintenance, calibration, testing, and commissioning of positioners
- Good understanding of instrumentation and pneumatic control systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure during shutdowns and outage environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in completing maintenance reports and documentation
