Key Responsibilities:
Design Review & Technical Queries
· Receive mechanical design drawings from the consultant and evaluate them to ensure that they are technically feasible.
· Identify design issues and submit Queries for clarification.
Quantity Surveying (QS)
· Extract and quantify mechanical components from drawings.
· Compare quantities with BOQ and highlight discrepancies.
Cross-Department Coordination
· Coordinate with various internal teams including Cost Team, Electrical Team, and Architectural Director.
· Review mechanical components in collaboration with the Electrical Team to ensure proper electrical integration.
Supplier Coordination & Technical Evaluation
· Share project documents with suppliers (BOQ, specs, vendor list, schedule).
· Review Data Sheets and compare supplier offers technically.
Cost Breakdown Preparation
· Prepare detailed cost breakdown: material, installation, transportation, taxes, price notes.
· Analyze prices and ensure competitiveness
Preparing Technical Submittals
· Prepare Data Sheets, Procurement Plan, and Vendor List.
· Submit to consultant and follow up on comments.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
· 0–3 years’ experience in Tendering/Technical Office.
· Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting systems.
· Experience in BOQ analysis, QS & cost estimation.
· Excellent communication & analytical skills.
· Strong English skills.
