Mechanical Engineer GMR 1.2 – Rustenburg
Our Client – A leading industrial operation is seeking a qualified and driven Mechanical Engineer to join its Rustenburg facility in a key engineering leadership role.
This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong professional with experience in maintenance, asset reliability, plant operations, and statutory compliance within a manufacturing or processing environment.
Qualifications
- BTech Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification (or higher)
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant mechanical engineering experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or processing environment
- Strong exposure to maintenance systems, asset management, and plant operations
- Experience working with CMMS platforms (Pragma preferred)
- Sound understanding of South African OHSA requirements relating to machinery and engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project coordination and stakeholder management experience
- Working knowledge of CAD systems and engineering documentation
- Willingness and ability to travel between sites when required
