Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Fiber Laser Design Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, optimizing, and managing designs for fiber laser cutting operations to ensure high precision, efficiency, and production quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and optimize cutting designs for fiber laser machines
* Convert technical drawings into production-ready files
* Operate and adjust settings for fiber laser machines to achieve optimal performance
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve workflow and output
* Ensure accuracy, quality, and minimal material waste in all designs
* Troubleshoot machine or design-related issues during production
* Maintain documentation for designs and processes
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field
* Minimum 3 years of experience in fiber laser cutting and design
* Strong hands-on experience with fiber laser machines
* Proficiency in:
* Cypcut
* AutoCAD
* SolidWorks
* Solid understanding of metal fabrication and sheet processing
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
* Must be based in Alexandria
