Key Responsibilities
- Analyze Mech. requirements following project specifications, codes, and standards
- Study the Mech. Specifications and requirements and use it in design development/review
- Prepare Mech. design drawings
- Test and evaluate theoretical designs
- Review design drawings, calculation reports, and submittals from subcontractors
- Prepare 3D drawings and models using modeling software.
- Establish the projects’ designs requirements, monitor the draft and final deliverable for adherence to these criteria.
- Prepare and issue design criteria, and material specifications.
- Estimate the needed quantities of materials to complete projects and select them correctly based on design specifications
- Coordinate with other departments for completion of work. E.g., Structure, Architecture, Electrical, planning & tendering departments
- Develop technical reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong in MS Office.
- Strong CAD/MicroStation
- Capability of using building modeling software as Revit
- Capability of using Mechanical design software as HAP and Elite
- Awareness of building codes and standards
- Use computer-aided design technology for Mech. Design
- Management skills
