A specialist player in the mineral processing industry is looking for a driven Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their high-performance team. This is not a passive, sit-and-draw role. You will be designing real components, solving real engineering challenges, and contributing to equipment used in demanding industrial environments.
POSITION INFO:
What You’ll Be Doing:
Design and develop mechanical components for mineral processing equipment
Work closely with senior engineers to take designs from concept through to manufacturing
Produce detailed technical drawings and ensure design accuracy and compliance
Get involved in problem-solving on existing equipment and continuous improvements
Collaborate with production and project teams to ensure practical, buildable designs
Be hands-on in a fast-moving engineering environment where deadlines matter
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 2 Years’ Experience In Mechanical Component Design
Strong CAD design ability with a focus on detail and accuracy
An engineer who wants to learn fast, take ownership, and grow quickly
A practical mindset—you understand that designs must work in the real world
Someone who takes pride in delivering quality work under pressure
Minimum Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
At least 2 years’ experience specifically in component design
Exposure to heavy industry, manufacturing, or mineral processing will be advantageous
