Local Manufacturing Company is seeking several Entry Level Material Handler to join their fast paced growing team.
- Responsible for controlling and maintaining the accurate transfer of parts and materials in and out of stock room
- Verifies and maintains stores inventory and/or shortage reports
- Checks against documentation for proper information, identification and quantity.
- Locates and expedites necessary materials. Basic math skills for parts counting.
- Prepares material for delivery to the manufacturing environment.
- Perform material pick-up or drop-off at multiple tool locations on production floor.
- Performs cycle count to verify and maintain inventory; identifies and processes nonconforming material.
- Receives parts and updates inventory records
- Verifies vendor delivery before accepting parts and/or inventory.
Requirements:
- Prior material handling, inventory, warehouse or similar experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to stand, lift, twist and bend for an 8 hour shift
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be organized
- Experience with a pallet jack or forklifts is a plus! Training is provided
- Good understanding and ability to work with Excel & Word
Variety of shifts available:
Day Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
