Purpose Statement

To be responsible for planning, coordinating & implementing public relations & communication campaigns, advertising and SED & CSR initiatives for Eazi Access & Uplift Quality Solutions.

To market the Eazi Access & Uplift Quality Solutions brand consistently.

Main Outputs and Responsibilities for This Position

Area/Type

Responsibilities

Public Relations & Communication

· Press releases

o Coordinate the writing and distributing of press releases in specified geographic areas

o Ensure brand message is consistent and aligned to the company’s strategy and values

o Build long term relationships with key media editors, ensuring the most effective messaging and positioning of the organisation

· Newsletters Internal/External

o Drive company brand awareness and services by means of a bi-monthly electronic external customer newsletter

o Publish a monthly internal newsletter as part of the company communication platform

· Marketing Collateral

Coordinate the writing, designing printing and distribution of all marketing collateral, including:

o Company Profile

o Industry brochures

o Machine Overview brochures

o Product brochures

o Other company collateral

· Video blog

o Coordinate, record & edit the monthly video blog for distribution to the organisation

· Contribute to the development and continual improvement of the Marketing Communications Plan

Advertising

· Develop, execute and evaluate advertising strategies, objectives and plans to targeted audiences increasing company awareness

· Coordinate the management of print, TV and radio advertising campaigns in specified geographic areas

Socio Economic Development (SED) & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

· Socio Economic Development

o Review & recommend SED proposals received in making significant infrastructural investments in previously disadvantaged and underdeveloped communities for approval by the Group Marketing Manager

o Implement approved initiatives, including events

o Orchestrate PR exposure from activities

o Prepare a report on initiatives on a bi-annual basis for the Social & Ethics Committee to be presented by the Group Marketing Manager

· Corporate Social Responsibility

o Review & recommend CSR proposals received for approval by the Group Marketing Manager aligned to the regions

o Implement approved initiatives, including events

o Orchestrate PR exposure from activities

o Prepare a report on initiatives on a bi-annual basis for the Social & Ethics Committee to be presented by the Group Marketing Manager

Teamwork

Qualifications

Minimum

B. Com Marketing or equivalent

Recommended

Post graduate business-related degree

Experience

· 4 Years Marketing experience within a corporate or semi-corporate environment

· Experience in managing a corporate identity & brand

· Experience in working closely with suppliers throughout the procurement process

· Experience with litho & digital printing & application of printed material

· Experience with branding design & installation

· PowerPoint & graphic design experience an advantage

· Experience in promoting a brand through various communication channels

· Mining, Construction, or Industrial experience an advantage

· Rental Industry knowledge an advantage

· Work-at-height & material handling solutions experience an advantage
