The Handler Music Management is seeking a passionate and creative Marketing & PR Lead to join us as we prepare to launch an exciting new music and cultural initiative in Cape Town.
We are looking for someone who understands the power of storytelling, community building, and authentic brand development, and who is excited by the opportunity to help build something meaningful from the ground up.
This role will be responsible for supporting the marketing, public relations, audience growth, and brand positioning of a new live music experience currently in development.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Marketing strategy and campaign development
- Social media planning and audience growth
- Public relations and media outreach
- Partnership and collaboration opportunities
- Event promotion and brand awareness
- Community engagement and communications
The ideal candidate:
- Has experience in marketing, PR, communications, or brand management
- Is passionate about music, culture, events, and storytelling
- Is self-motivated and proactive
- Thinks creatively and strategically
- Enjoys working in entrepreneurial and fast-moving environments
- Is based in Cape Town (preferred)
