OVERVIEW:
The Marketing Officer will support the marketing team in executing campaigns and promoting the group’s products, services, and overall brand. This role focuses on assisting with creative execution, content creation, and day-to-day marketing activities across digital, print, and social media platforms, while gaining practical exposure to marketing processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Marketing Support & Execution:
- Assist in the implementation of marketing campaigns
- Support the team in ensuring marketing activities are executed effectively.
- Provide general administrative support for marketing projects and initiatives.
- Brand Support:
- Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all marketing platforms, communications, and learner materials.
- The creation and updating of branded content and documents.
- Digital Marketing Assistance:
- Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and basic community engagement.
- Support email marketing campaigns and digital content updates.
- Monitor basic performance metrics and report on engagement where required.
- Content Creation & Campaign Assistance:
- Assist in creating marketing content, including social media posts, basic graphics, and written copy.
- Work with the creative team to develop marketing materials such as brochures, advertisements, and digital assets.
- Support the rollout of campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Reporting & Administration:
- Assist in compiling basic reports on campaign performance and engagement.
- Help maintain marketing databases and records.
- Support with general coordination and tracking of marketing activities.
- Cross-Department Support:
- Work with different departments (e.g., sales, academics, and IT) to support marketing initiatives.
- Assist in gathering information required for campaigns and projects.
- Market Research:
- Conduct basic research on market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
- Assist in gathering insights to support marketing campaigns.
- Events Support:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events.
- Provide on-the-ground support during events and activations.
- Help gather feedback and insights post-events.
- General Team Support:
- Provide support to the marketing team across various projects.
- Take initiative in learning and contributing to team objectives.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as required.

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: R350 000,00 – R650 000,00 per year
