About the Role

The Marketing Associate will sit at the centre of the company's marketing function, ensuring campaigns, systems, data, and processes run efficiently and effectively.

This is a highly operational role suited to someone who enjoys structure, organisation, and problem-solving. You will be responsible for managing marketing workflows, supporting outbound campaigns, maintaining CRM data, coordinating content initiatives, and helping the business generate and nurture new opportunities.

Responsibilities – What You'll Be DoingMarketing Operations & Campaign Management

  • Manage outbound email campaigns from setup through execution.
  • Build, research, and maintain prospect databases using LinkedIn, Apollo, and other lead intelligence platforms.
  • Upload and manage outreach sequences.
  • Monitor campaign performance and ensure smooth execution.
  • Review, triage, and action responses from outbound campaigns.
  • Support lead generation initiatives and pipeline growth.
  • Build and improve marketing workflows and AI-powered processes using tools such as Claude AI.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and campaign performance.

CRM & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and organised records within HubSpot CRM.
  • Manage contacts, lifecycle stages, segmentation, and deal records.
  • Ensure marketing and sales teams have access to clean and reliable data.
  • Generate campaign and pipeline reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor data quality and implement process improvements where required.

Content & Marketing Support

  • Create and update sales collateral including brochures, one-pagers, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Support the production and distribution of email newsletters.
  • Coordinate and schedule social media content.
  • Assist with LinkedIn campaigns, content planning, analytics, and reporting.
  • Ensure marketing assets remain up to date and aligned with brand standards.

Marketing Coordination

  • Support event research, planning, logistics, and follow-up activities.
  • Manage inbound lead tracking and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as the business continues to scale.

Requirements – What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, operations, sales support, administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working within a SaaS, B2B, or startup environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Comfortable learning and using new software and technology platforms.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude AI, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Curious, analytical, and eager to understand how marketing drives business growth.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using HubSpot CRM.
  • Familiarity with Apollo or similar prospecting tools.
  • Previous experience supporting B2B sales or marketing teams.
  • Exposure to fintech, HR tech, employee benefits, or SaaS industries.
  • Experience building automations, workflows, or AI-powered processes.
  • Interest in demand generation, growth marketing, or marketing operations as a long-term career path.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 09:00 AM – 5:30 PM GMT
  • 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM South Africa Standard Time (SAST)

Compensation & Benefits – What We Offer

  • Monthly salary of R20,000 – R25,000
