Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within target markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, consulting engineers, developers, contractors, quantity surveyors, and key industry stakeholders.
- Drive product specification and approval on commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to clients.
- Support project pipelines from specification through to project completion.
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to achieve business objectives.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and CRM records.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in business development, specification sales, or technical sales.
- Experience with in the building services, plumbing, sanitaryware, construction materials, or related industries is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to engage with architects, engineers, contractors, and developers.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
