About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Manufacturing Manager to oversee the end-to-end manufacturing operations at our cosmetics production facility in Beni Suef. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while maintaining the highest standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
The Manufacturing Manager will lead cross-functional teams across Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Manufacturing Excellence, driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Ensure production plans are executed efficiently while maximizing equipment utilization and minimizing downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse, R&D, and Planning teams.
- Monitor manufacturing KPIs including productivity, OEE, waste, efficiency, and labor utilization.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead, coach, and develop production managers, supervisors, and manufacturing teams.
- Oversee preventive maintenance planning in collaboration with the Engineering and Maintenance departments.
- Support new product introductions, process validation, and scale-up activities.
- Prepare operational reports and present manufacturing performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 10–12 years of manufacturing experience within a production environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
- Experience in cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and manufacturing best practices.
- Proven experience managing large production teams and cross-functional departments.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
